WHO ARE WE?
The Vobra group is a completely independent family company. Its formation is attributable to Mr. Piet van Krieken who founded the company in 1932. Initially, it only produced foods for farm pets. In 1963 son Gerard took the company over and continued it under the name of VOBRA (Voederfabriek Oost BRAbant ) (‘East BRAbant Food Factory’). We still use this name. In 1973, the company started producing cat and dog foods. The production of foods for farm pets was gradually phased out. From 1975 onwards, only cat and dog foods were produced. In 1984, a new factory was built for this purpose in Loosbroek. In 2001, work was started on the construction of a second factory with a warehouse on the "de Dubbelen" industrial estate in Veghel, which has been operational since May 2002. In 2006, Vobra acquired the Wielco B.V. company. Wielco produces pressed dog foods, simple and compound fishing baits.

Our mission is to develop, produce and market high-quality pet foods. We look for long-term partnerships when marketing these products. In so doing, we would like to be seen as an important supplier of high-quality dog and cat foods: a trendsetter instead of a trend follower. We are associated with quality, exclusivity, flexibility and reliability both at home and abroad.
