Productionprocess
Loosbroek plant: In 1932, Piet van Krieken (1897-1985) started his mill and flour trade here. In 1963 the company was taken over by his son Gerard. From 1973 onwards the first dog food was produced at this site. Total capacity of the plant is approx. 18.000 tons a year.
Veghel plant: Growing demand of our quality products caused the company to chose the industrial site "De Dubbelen" in Veghel to ensure the expansion which was not possible at Loosbroek. This is our new ultra modern plant, operational from May 2002.
The 1956 hammer mill. Idle now, and decorating the main entrance of our Veghel office.
An extruding machine with 3 mixers for a good premature process of the corn product. This process results in a positive influence on the digestibility of the end product.
A vacuum fat spraying installation with which Vobra, by means of a so-called fluid cabinet, is able to simultaneously administer animal fats and vegetable oils on and in the end product.
A fully automatic packing line with different packaging possibilities like glueing, sealing, stitching etc.
The packing line where sealing, folding and glueing is performed, for items weighing 2 to 7,5 kg.
Partial view of the packing line for large items. Before packing, products are sieved which prevents small grit to be included in the end product.
From the bagging machine, full bags are put onto an automatic pallet machine which places the bags onto pallets. Pallets are then covered with a layer of top foil and enveloped completely in protective foil.
From our warehouses, products are loaded onto trucks. Our transporters consequently distribute the goods to pet stores, kennels and veterinarians.
